GLOW MARINE & DUNDEE MARINE CELEBRATE  KEEL LAYING CEREMONY FOR ITS CUSTOMER VALLIANZ HOLDINGS LIMITED (“VALLIANZ”)  - HULL A0141

On 19TH July 2022, this date marked an important milestone for Glow Marine Pte Ltd as it jointly hosted with Dundee Marine & Industrial Services Pte Ltd, their first Keel-Laying ceremony of Hull A0141 at its yard in Pioneer Sector, Singapore.  
 
The Keel-Laying event was also a significant milestone for the vessel as it started its construction process of a 48m Security Vessel which is designed by Sea Tech Solution Pte Ltd for its owner Vallianz Holdings.
 
Named “ RAWABI SCB 1”, the 500dwt Security Vessel has a beam of 9.20m wide and a depth of 3.90m has a total  complement of 21 men. The vessel is designed to the highest standard of safety in accordance to Bureau Veritas.
 
The propulsion package consists of 3x MTU  12V4000M65L engines each 1920kw @ 1800 rpm  driving 3 fixed pitched propellers through ZF  gear box, with a speed of 21 knots.
“
RAWABI SCB 1”, is expected to be completed in 2023 and will be slated to perform offshore security patrol duties in and around the service area on 24 hours continuously for  seven days, depending on the sea and weather conditions. Encountering Beaufort Wind Scale 7 (wind speed 28 knots and above) and/or wave height of at least 10 ft, the vessel is not advisable to sail.

The shipyard was specifically designed and built to bridge the gap between large scale multi-national shipyards and small scale locally owned shipyards. Facilities include 1 no. 39m x 190m slipway with 2 cradles and 2 fully equipped covered workshops for aluminium boat building.
